Dear St. Patrick School Families & Staff:
I recently received a communication from the PIME Missions expressing their thanks once again for St. Patrick School’s support of their work helping impoverished children. The money raised this year will support 12 children for the next year giving them the opportunity to attend school, and supply them with food, clothing, and housing. Due to the wonderful generosity of our school families this year, we were able to send the PIME Missions extra money in the amount of $1,050. This extra money raised was put to good use in Myanmar. Fr. Henry Soe Thein, the director of an orphanage housing 50 children in the diocese of Kengtung, was in need for a new source of water for the orphanage due to the village water supply running short. Our extra money was sent to this mission to dig a well, build a tank for water storage, and obtain a pump and generator.
The PIME Missions wanted me to extend their thanks once again for the support of the work they do throughout the world.
Have a wonderful, blessed summer! Mrs. Christine Hoover School Librarian
